Franchisee Says Postal Connections Lied

SAN DIEGO (CN) – Postal Connections of America fraudulently induced him to buy a franchise by stating, inaccurately, that the average franchisee’s percentage of profits for the first three years are 75%, 72% and 73%, Sean Wheeldon claims in Superior Court. Wheeldon says he paid a $20,900 franchise fee, but his total investment, including a business loan, equipment and property leases, came to more than $250,000. He says his “gross profit margins were never more than 50%.”
