Foul ball

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — An appeals court in California revived a personal injury suit against La Sierra University brought by a woman who suffered skull fractures and brain damage when she was struck by a foul ball while seated behind the dugout. The university should have known the standard of care is to provide safety netting along first and third-base lines, including over the dugout areas, the court wrote.
