SAN DIEGO (CN) - A former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison on Monday for possession of child pornography. Wade Rowland Sanders, a retired Navy captain and an attorney, was senior adviser for veterans and military affairs to Lt. Gov. John Garamendi when he pleaded guilty in December.
Sanders admitted possessing a computer that had more than 600 images of minors, including a graphic, 21-minute video of young girls having sex with an adult man and with one another.
