Former Minor Leaguer Assumed Risk, Court Says

ALBANY, N.Y. (CN) - A New York court showed little sympathy for former minor leaguer James Reyes, who sued the city after a foul ball from a neighboring field hit him in the dugout while he was coaching baseball in a city park. The appellate division said Reyes knowingly assumed the risk of getting hit by stray balls.
