SAN ANTONIO (CN) - A Bexar County Court ordered Foreclosure Assistance Solutions to return $370,000 to more than 300 Texas homeowners. Texas sued the Florida company in 2007, claiming it scammed homeowners with delinquent mortgage payments by promising to stop foreclosures through its contacts with mortgage companies and banks, contractually prohibiting the owners from contacting the lenders, then taking their $1,200 in fees and ignoring them.
