Forced labor charges

MANHATTAN — The Second Circuit vacated a Chinese construction company executive's convictions on three counts of forced labor due to evidentiary errors but upheld his convictions for alien smuggling and visa fraud. The defendant, Dan Zhong, formerly served as an accredited diplomat for the People’s Republic of China.
