EL PASO, Texas – A federal court in Texas granted the government’s request to maintain an order authorizing the forced feeding of an immigrant from India who is detained in an ICE facility and on a hunger strike.

The immigrant is “facing too great a risk of organ failure, muscle atrophy and death,” the court ruled.
