For Taxes, Is It Roll-Your-|Own or Pipe Tobacco?

WASHINGTON (CN) – The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is requesting information on physical characteristics of pipe tobacco, roll-your-own tobacco, and processed tobacco, so each of them may be described in standards.      The agency is reopening the comment period for Notice No. 106, regarding excise taxes on tobacco, to receive input on the tobacco characteristics.     The agency also has described the results of preliminary laboratory analyses conducted by the agency, for possible public comment.     Click the document icon for this regulation and others.
