Footage of Minnesota senator’s arrest

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled in favor of a news outlet on its request for police bodycam and dash camera footage of the arrest of a state senator, Nicole Lynn Mitchell, in April 2024 on suspicion of burglary. The footage “would help Minnesotans hold elected officials accountable, which is a benefit to the public” that warrants release.
