CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois grants partial summary judgment to government agencies on a Northwestern University professor’s FOIA lawsuit, filed to further her research into the government’s practice of wrongfully deporting U.S. citizens. The DOJ and DHS are dismissed as defendants, other agencies including ICE and HHS are ordered to provide some information, and the professor may replead her case for some of the denied FOIA requests.
