Florida Supreme Court

ATTORNEYS - A referee recommended that attorney Ronald Bloom be disbarred for mishandling attorney fees paid to him thatbelonged to a financial services company. The Florida Supreme Court ruled that Bloom's misconduct - ranging from his misappropriation of more than $60,000 to the theft of artwork from opposing counsel's law offices to his 20-year history of cocaine abuse -was egregious enough to justify disbarment.
