Florida Man Claims Strippers Drugged Him, Maxed Out His Credit Card

A South Florida man claims in court that dancers at a local strip club drugged him, and then ran up exorbitant charges on his credit cards while he was inebriated.

(CN) - A South Florida man claims in court that dancers at a local strip club drugged him, and then ran up exorbitant charges on his credit cards while he was inebriated.

In a complaint filed in Broward County, Fla. on Thursday, plaintiff Larry Einbinder says he was patron at the Vixens Gentlemen's Club in Davie, Fla. on the evening of July 14 and early morning hours of July 15, and that after he had only a few drinks he became groggy and highly intoxicated.

Einbinder, who is being represented by Gary Ostrow from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.,  maintains this state of intoxication was "far more than would normally be expected from the ingestion of a few normal cocktails."

Based on that assertion, he believes the drinks served to him by Vixen’s employees had been chemically altered, and that they took advantage of him due to his intoxicated state.

“Without Mr. Einbinder’s knowledge and consent, dancer/employees of Vixens purchased several expensive cocktails and bottles of champagne and charged those items to the plaintiff’s American Express card as well as other credit cards in the plaintiff’s possession,” the complaint says.

According to the complaint, the club also charged Einbinder obscene amounts per hour for the dancers’ services and their company.

Einbinder goes on to assert that the dancers plied him with cocaine to manipulate him and take advantage of him.

He alleges that Vixens provided him with bills that did not show the amounts charged to his credit card nor specified the services for which he was charged for.

The unauthorized charges made to his account totaled $17,474, Einbinder says.

He claims that the strip club allowed its employees and management to exploit him and steal from him.

He is seeking compensatory damages on claims of violation of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, civil theft, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and contract.

Vixens Gentlemen’s Club did not respond to email and phone requests for comment on the lawsuit.
