JURISDICTION - Two injured Carnival cruise passengers challenged a clause in their ticket terms requiring lawsuits to be filed in Miami Federal Court, claiming it's too restrictive. J. Shepherd found that this argument, although "eloquently" advanced, "reflects something of a provincial attitude" toward the federal judges in Miami. See ruling.
