Florida Courts Of Appeal

ATTORNEY FEES - A cigarette maker challenged an award of attorney fees, entered after the company rejected a settlement offer made one day after the plaintiff hired her attorney. The Florida Courts of Appeal held that the company reserved the right to challenge the award, and the trial court improperly limited its analysis on a mistaken belief that it could only consider certain criteria.
