Florida can’t call CAIR a terrorist org

TALLAHASSEE — A federal court in Florida entered a preliminary injunction preventing Florida from enforcing Governor Ron DeSantis’ executive order designating the Council on American-Islamic Relations as a terror organization. The First Amendment “bars the governor from continuing the troubling trend of using an executive office to make a political statement at the expense of others’ constitutional rights.” Florida is prohibited from any enforcement of the order or withholding funds from organizations that provide it with support or resources.
