Families of six people who died in the June 1, 2009 crash of Air France Flight 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, which disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean, sued these defendants in San Francisco Federal Court: Airbus, Honeywell International, Thales Avionics, Motorola, Intel, Rockwell Collins, Hamilton Sundstrand, General Electric, Rosemount Aerospace, Du Pont, and Raychem Corp.
