Flash: Catholic Church Opposes ‘Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll’

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Catholic Church Real Estate Corp. is trying to prevent an adults-only live show from taking place Oct. 20 at an historic former church.

The church seeks injunction in City Court against Rothschild Allen, claiming the event would violate a real estate agreement. Rothschild bought the St. Boniface Catholic Church, which was a place of worship for more than 100 years, with a list of restrictions on use for the property, the suit states. The church says that a performance called "Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll" would violate the restrictions. The church is represented by Gregory Mollett.
