Fish and Wildlife Agency Bans Duck Transport

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Agency has placed a ban on transport of live Muscovy ducks, or fertile Muscovy duck eggs, outside of areas where the species occurs naturally for any purpose other than food production.

The Muscovy duck is considered an invasive species in other parts of the country but is often imported by duck hunters seeking to enhance local duck populations.
