Fireworks at Work

A man who was injured when he lit a firework that exploded in his hands is not entitled to workers’ compensation benefits, an appeals court in Nebraska ruled. Although the incident occurred when he was inside a warehouse performing duties related to his work, his actions had nothing to do with his truck driving job.
