Fired Manager Says Tyson Foods|Knows It Violates Labor Laws

JACKSON, MISS. (CN) - Tyson Foods fired a longtime personnel manager to retaliate for his true reports that the company owes workers at the Carthage, Miss., plant $8 million to $12 million in unpaid wages, Terry Prideaux claims in Federal Court. He claims corporate bosses acknowledged they violated labor laws and owed the workers that much, but told him "that it would cost too much money and that, with their deep pockets, they would rather fight each case alone." See complaint.
