Fired for Being Black & Blonde, Woman Says

LAS VEGAS (CN) - A black housekeeper at Caesars Palace says she was fired for having blonde hair. Candis Jackson says her hair was blonde when she was interviewed and hired in 2003. Two years later, she says she was told that her "hair must match her ethnicity," and was fired for "not complying with the grooming standards."

Jackson demands damages for racial discrimination and retaliation. She is represented in Clark County Court by Daniel Marks.
