Fired Cop Says Police Chief Is Corrupt

PITTSBURGH (CN) - Michael Foley, a 7-year veteran police officer, claims Stowe Township and its Police Chief Marciw fired him to retaliate for his refusal to condone Marciw's corruption, including destroying evidence, fixing tickets for political cronies, sending police vehicles for repairs to a business in which Marciw is a silent partner, and letting co-defendant Public Works Commissioner Robert Homer steal township property for personal use and to sell for profit. See the federal complaint.
