WASHINGTON (CN) – TRICARE standard beneficiaries not eligible for Medicare will not have to provide co-pays for certain preventative medical care, according to a Defense Department proposed rule.

The rule, if adopted, would implement a section of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009.
