Fentanyl Overdose

A man was properly convicted of giving drugs to his girlfriend with a sentencing enhancement for personally inflicting great bodily injury, a California appeals court ruled. The man gave the girlfriend fentanyl, which he believed to be cocaine, resulting in her overdose death.
