Felony Plea in Biodiesel Scam

LAS VEGAS (CN) - An Australian man pleaded guilty Tuesday to five felonies, in a $41 million scam to generate fraudulent biodiesel credits.

Nathan Stoliar, 64, pleaded guilty to conspiracy, conspiracy to launder money, two counts of wire fraud and making false statements under the Clean Air Act, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

He faces up to 47 years in prison and $5 million in fines and restitution.
