ST. LOUIS - A Missouri prison inmate faces felony charges for allegedly writing a threatening, profanity-laced letter to President Obama.
Josh Randall McCallum sent the letter from the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Mo. on Aug. 3, according to the federal indictment.
McCallum is accused of writing that Obama should be shot, and, "If I was out there I would do it myself or at least try to."
He allegedly wrote, "When I get out, all those I've mentioned will be dealt with." McCallum faces a federal felony charge of threatening the president.
McCallum is not listed in the Missouri Department of Corrections database; no other information was readily available about him.
