HOUSTON — A federal court in Texas granted a strip club’s preliminary injunction keeping the state comptroller from charging its $10-per-customer fee for “sexually oriented businesses,” as well as conducting inspections and audits of records pertaining to how many customers are admitted daily, which allegedly violates the business’s First and Fourth Amendment rights.
