Feds Sue United Rentals CFO For $17 Million

NEW HAVEN (CN) - An eight-count federal indictment accuses United Rentals former President and CFO John Milne of making $17.2 million through conspiracy, securities fraud, inside trading and making false statements to the SEC. Milne allegedly conspired with ex-CFO Michael J. Nolan to juggle the books to "benefit personally and conceal the true financial condition of the Company ... from ... the SEC and the investing public".
