Feds Say Cop Conspired to Rob Dealers

MANHATTAN (CN) - A New York City Police officer has been arrested and charged with conspiring to rob suspected drug dealers. Miguel Burgos faces federal charges of conspiring to commit armed robberies.

Federal prosecutors say Burgos, 32, gave his co-conspirators a police scanner that was "used during the course of robberies."

If convicted, Burgos faces up to 20 years in prison.
