Feds Issue Report on May 6 Market Dive

WASHINGTON (CN) - The bizarre stock market plunge and recovery on May 6 was probably not "triggered by 'fat finger' errors, computer hacking, or terrorist activity, although we cannot completely rule out these possibilities," the SEC and CFTC said Tuesday in a 151-page report of their "preliminary findings." The agencies issued the report to the Joint Advisory Committee on Emerging Regulatory Errors.
