Feds Charge NY State Senator With Corruption

MANHATTAN (CN) - Federal prosecutors accuse New York State Senator Carl Kruger of conspiring with seven men to take bribes and launder the money - more than $500,000. Also named as defendants in an FBI agent's lengthy complaint are Assemblyman William Boyland Jr., lobbyist Richard Lipsky, real estate developer Aaron Malinsky, healthcare consultant Solomon Kalish, former hospital CEO Robert Aquino, hospital CEO David Rosen, and gynecologist Michael Turano.
