Feds Allege Blatant Housing Violations

ORLANDO (CN) - Fountain View Apartments of Orange City, Fla., refuses to show apartments to black people and tells white people "that a selling point of the apartment complex is that they do not have any black residents," the United States of America claims in Federal Court.

Fountain View's sole officer and director is James W. Stevens, the complaint states. He is not sued individually, but the apartment manager, Mildred Chastain, is sued, along with the business.
