MANHATTAN (CN) - Maurice McDowall and five cohorts defrauded homeowners of more than $1.4 million in a foreclosure rescue scam run through his business, Lost and Found Recovery, federal prosecutors say. They also sue his employees, Kerri Clarke and Andrea Moore, the latter of whom ran a similar scam, Homes R Us, with defendant Michael Irving, prosecutors say. They also sue mortgage broker Aleksander Lipkin, and Marina Dubin.
