Federal Judge Lowers The Boom On Attorney

MANHATTAN (CN) – U.S. District Judge Harold Baer Jr. reprimanded attorney Kristan Peters, lead counsel for Dorsey & Whitney in representing Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, finding that she was “the driving force” behind a series of woeful acts and “misconduct” during litigation that included altering transcripts and refusing to provide opposing counsel with documents. In addition, Judge Baer concluded that “Ms. Peters misrepresented facts or was less than forthcoming regarding her actions to this Court, her fellow lawyers at Dorsey, and her own client.”
Said Peters, “Judge Baer’s findings contradict the actual testimony and the evidence and will be appealed.”
