Federal Judge Dismisses Class Action Against Hansen Soda

LOS ANGELES (CN) - A federal judge has dismissed a consolidated class-action complaint against Hansen Natural Corp. and eight of its officers.

U.S. District Judge John Walter dismissed the complaint filed by people who bought shares in Hansen, a soda company, from Nov. 12, 2001 to Nov. 9, 2006. Plaintiffs alleged improper backdating of stock options, lack of internal controls and improper accounting practices. See complaint.
