Federal Claims Court

CONTRACT - The claims court found that Enron breached its contract with the U.S. Army when it filed for bankruptcy and stopped providing Fort Hamilton with power, water and waste systems. Enron had finished building contracted improvements when it defaulted, but Enron had only provided two out of ten contracted years of utility service. Enron is not entitled to reimbursement for unpaid costs from building the improvements because of its default.
