Federal Circuit

PATENT - International Rectifier claimed that three of IXYS' transistor patents infringed on its transistors. The Federal Circuit ruled that the defendant's patents were not infringing, because the plaintiff had added the term "adjoining" in the claim language, excluding structures that might have been covered by the original claim language.
