Fed Raises Minimum Reserve Exemption

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Federal Reserve has raised the maximum assets a bank or other depository institutions can have before they are required to set aside reserves at $11.5 million. The Fed also raised the maximum assets for the next lowest reserve requirement level - banks that must set aside 3 percent of their assets - at $71 million.
