FCC OKs Cable Devices

WASHINGTON (CN) - Information-collection requirements for commercial availability of navigation devices and compatibility between cable systems and consumer electronics equipment have been approved by the Federal Communications Commission.

The information collection requirements now are effective, and the approval lasts for three years.
