RIVERSIDE, Calif. (CN) - The FBI asked for help to find Edward Allen Costa, 48, who is charged with possessing pipe bombs that were strewn around Palm Springs last year.
Costa was indicted Wednesday on six counts of possessing pipe bombs and one count of escaping from custody, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Costa, of Desert Hot Springs, pleaded guilty last year to being a felon in possession of a firearm. He walked away from a halfway house in Rubidoux in August.
The indictment accuses him of possessing six pipe bombs that were strewn about residential neighborhoods in Palm Springs from May 8-12, 2012.
The FBI asks anyone with information about him to call the FBI at (310) 996-3323, or the U.S. Attorney's Office at (951) 276-6945.
