FBI records

NEW YORK — A federal court in New York ruled the FBI properly withheld certain records requested by the widow of journalist Steven Vincent, who was kidnapped and murdered in Basra, Iraq, in 2005. Vincent’s interpreter did not waive confidentiality of statements made to the FBI by speaking publicly about the incident using an alias, the court ruled.
