Farmers Challenge Animal ID System

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Animal Identification System poses illegal economic burdens on farmers and violates their religious freedom, the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund and others claim in Federal Court. Several plaintiffs claim that "God and the Bible authorize (them) with dominion over all animals on the planet and prohibit (them) from taking the 'mark.'"
