FARC Arms Dealer Convicted

MANHATTAN (CN) - Tareq Mousa al Ghazi, a crony of international arms dealer Monzer al Kassar, was convicted late Tuesday of conspiring to sell millions of dollars of weapons to the FARC, the Fuerzas Revolucionarias de Colombia. Al Ghazi faces up to life in federal prison at his June 16 sentencing. Already sentenced to long prison terms in the case are al Kassar and Luis Felipe Moreno Godoy.
