Fan Says He Was Beaten At|Extreme Fighting’s ‘Operation Beatdown’

CHICAGO (CN) - An "extreme fighting" fan says he was severely beaten at the alcohol-fueled "Operation Beatdown" because the Extreme Fighting Organization and Ultimate Productions refuse to protect fans from contestants and from the companies' own employees.

Brendan Weber claims he was beaten at the Nov. 11, 2006 fight at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. He claims the defendants knew that fans had been beaten before at such events, and failed to protect him at this one.

Weber is represented in Cook County Court by Jeffrey Landry.

Here are the defendants: Madkatstep Entertainment dba Sears Centre, Extreme Fighting Organization, Ultimate Productions, Sears Roebuck and Co., Monterrey Security Consultants, and Ryan Companies US.
