WASHINGTON (CN) - North Korean government agents abducted, tortured and murdered a Presbyterian minister who was caring for Korean refugees at a shelter in China, the Rev. Kim Dong Shik's family says in Federal Court. They say Korean security agents kidnapped him in 2000 from the Chinese border town of Yunji and took him to Korea, where he was imprisoned, starved and tortured to death in People's Army Camp 91, outside Pyongyang.
The family says they learned of Rev. Shik's murder from North Korean agents who ere arrested in South Korea in 2005 and "prosecuted for abducting refugees who had escaped to China."
The family is represented by Robert Tolchin.
