NEW ORLEANS — A federal court in Louisiana denied a Texas couple’s motion to remand their lawsuit against a New Orleans tree care company to state court. The parents say the firm, the city and others are liable for critical injuries their young son suffered when a large oak limb fell and crushed him while he sat with his family at a bench in Jackson Square. He remains hospitalized in a coma and “his future is uncertain.”
