Facebook privacy settlement

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge granted preliminary approval to a settlement in a class action claiming Facebook collected call data without permission through the Facebook Messenger and Facebook Lite apps and sold the data for advertising purposes. Facebook won’t pay any money but has agreed to delete data collected.
