Facebook Fiasco

A federal class action accuses Facebook of failing to notify users of co-defendant Cambridge Analytica’s unauthorized use of their personal data.

HOUSTON — A federal class action accuses Facebook of failing to notify users of co-defendant Cambridge Analytica’s unauthorized use of their personal data; right-wing political donor Robert Mercer, who founded Cambridge Analytica’s corporate parent, also is a defendant. The first such suit was filed on March 20 in San Jose, California.
