Explicit E-Mails

WASHINGTON (CN) - "SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT:" will be required as the first 19 characters of sexually oriented e-mails and their subject lines as of July 7.

E-mail users must have the warnings, notice that the e-mail is an advertisement, and a way to remove their address from the marketer's list according to the Federal Trade Commission regulation. E-mailer recipients also must not be charged a fee to opt out of future e-mails.
