LAS VEGAS (CN) - A class action claims radio talk show host Jack Ferm ran a foreclosure scam through his company, the U.S. Justice Foundation. The class claims Ferm charged thousands of dollars to "prepare litigation" but never filed anything. Ferm was arrested last week and charged with felony theft and deceptive trade, the Nevada Attorney General said.
Ferm was host of "Straight Talk" on KKVV-AM (1060), from 1994 through 2003, according to the state attorney general's office. Plaintiffs in Clark County Court are represented by James Stout.
